Conversationalist: A rehearsal tool

Have you ever walk away from a conversation and thought, “Ugh. If I could rewind 30 seconds, I would’ve said that completely differently”? It’s not because you were trying to “win” or anything, but because you just knew, deep down in your bones, that there was a better move available if it would only just come to you in the moment. Unfortunately, the moment has passed and took your time to shine with it.

Conversationalist is a free rehearsal space that helps you develop your conversational intuition. It lets you play a hard conversation forward, then backstep, branch, and try again — without worrying about the stakes. You can test different choices, watch how the tone shifts, and notice how tiny changes in wording can change the emotional weather in the room. The goal isn’t to manufacture the “perfect line.” It’s to build the reflexes that help you stay aligned with who you want to be when things get charged.

Think of it like a flight simulator for words: you practise the manoeuvre, see what happens, and learn what helps the interaction stay safe, constructive, and human. If you’ve ever wished you could redo a moment — or just explore a few alternate paths before you try the real thing — you’re in the right place.

Note: This app uses my AI API to generate responses, which means it will never behave exactly like a human being. For truly high-stakes conversations, you’re much better rehearsing with another human.
